About WEBO
Curating Products that Matter
We founded WEBO in 2002 withsa simple yet passionate idea: “To discover things we truly believe in, from all over the world—and deliver them to those who share our values.”
Back then, I was a university student aspiring to become a designer. Yet whenever I researched the ideal products I imagined, I discovered that they already existed somewhere in the world—and that many of them remained hidden away in museums or books. Realizing this left me stunned.
The strong desire I felt then—to bring genuinely good objects to the people who truly need them—became the starting point of everything we do.
Soon after, we rented a small corner of a multi-tenant building and opened a select shop called WEBO, filling it only with the products we truly loved from around the world.
More than twenty years have passed since then. Our shop has moved to a more accessible street-level location, but our original belief—to deliver things that are truly good—has never changed. It is thanks to the support of so many people that we are here today.
本当に良いモノを届けたい
”本当に良いモノを世界中から集めて、共感してもらえる方のもとに届けたい”
私たちは、そんな想いから2002年にインテリアのセレクトショップ WEBO（ウェボ）を立ち上げました。
当時、私はデザイナーを志す大学生でした。そして自分が思い描いた理想の製品についてリサーチしてみると、それは既に世界のどこかに存在しており、その多くが美術館や書籍の中にとどまっていることを知り愕然としました。
この時に感じた「ほんとうに良いデザインを、実際の暮らしの中に届けたい」という強い想いが、私たちの原点です。
ほどなくして、私たちは雑居ビルの一画に小さなスペースを借り、世界中から心惹かれる製品を集めたセレクトショップ"WEBO"を開業しました。
それから20年以上が経ち、いまでは全国のお客様に支えられ、路面店へと移転することができましたが、創業当時の想いは今も変わることはありません。

私たちが本当にお届けしたいのは、何気ない日々の暮らしの中に、感動や悦びを感じさせてくれるような「お気に入り」の存在です。

お気に入りの食器で味わう食事。
お気に入りのモノを選びとることで、
日々の暮らしは特別な時間へと変わります。
そして手に入れたときの喜びや、使い心地の良さはもちろん、時を経ることで暮らしに寄り添い、10年後も、20年後も愛着をもって接することができるようなモノを、私たちは、ひとつひとつ丁寧にお届けしたいと考えています。

「良質なデザイン」は、求められる機能や目的を満たし、普遍的な美しさで時代や国を超えて私たちの暮らしに寄り添います。また、ある時は私たちの生活に新しい視点を与え、ときに既存の課題をスマートに解決する力にもなります。
そして、モノの背景にある作り手のデザイン哲学や姿勢に対する共感も、わたしたちの暮らしをより深く豊かなものにしてくれると考えています。
